Um, February? The hell?

• I’m told one of these is on its way to me. Any advice, warnings, or pointers appreciated. (I’ve got a much older cousin already, so I’m not a total n00b.)
• Third generation online communities. Related: joey on blog comments. I think both of those may have been jacked from JMason’s del.icio.us feed, but they’ve been open for a while and I don’t remember how I got to them at this point.

• Fugazi live CD series. DIthemselves.

• Couriers movie rights optioned. If they can maintain the tone of the books, awesome.
• Project verbs versus next-action verbs — into the read-review queue with this one…
• File::RsyncP — I’m going to need this at work this week
• Vimacs. Each copy comes with one of those white-on-black “switch” shirts.
• Teen girl charged with posting nude self-pics on Internet. Crazy.
• Gnus misc — several things in there that I need to get set up too…
• Advantages of big data and big clusters — $WORK should look at this and think about it.
• Linux Genuine Advantage — hee
• Bird flu in England. Just lovely.

• What’s in your .bash_history? I’ve got this set up, but it’s too early to get any good data. I suppose I could aggregate over all the machines I use, but I bet that would hide some things…
• If you haven’t watched the press conference held by the two guys charged over the Aqua Teen Hunger Force thing in Boston, you really should. Nothing like some absurdist humor to start out the day… More commentary, from Reason.

Well, that’s cut the number of open tabs by about half, and it’s getting to be time to head to work… More later, perhaps.
